The NHS free blood pressure checking service

High Blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a serious health condition that if not diagnosed and controlled, can lead to further health complications. It is estimated that over 5 million people with hypertension are undetected. We offer a convenient and accessible service for checking your blood pressure. Ask in-store to have your blood pressure checked. This service is funded by the NHS, it is free for eligible patients.

How does the service work?

One of our pharmacy staff will have a short consultation with you and your blood pressure will be checked. Depending on the reading of your blood pressure, you will be provided with appropriate advice from the pharmacist.
